Filmmakers FAQ

What will your film festival consist of?
All of our "Official Selections" will be shown, and awards will be presented throughout the day after each block of films.  If you've won an award but cannot attend the festival, we will send you a nice email certificate that you can print at home for your entire cast and crew.

Can I tell the audience about my film?                                       Yes. You can introduce your film, and participate in a brief Q&A session after your block of films.  If you know that you will not be attending, we invite you to send us a 2 minute video clip introducing yourself and telling us an interesting fact about the production of your film.
Do I need tickets to attend the festival?                                     No. The show is completely free for you, your guests, and anyone who wishes to attend.                                                           How do I watch the festival online?                                                It will be available for viewing for one week only, from Nov 20-28.  You and your guests will be able to watch the festival FREE on this website anytime 24/7 by simply clicking the show tab. (Which will be available later when we post the show schedule) .
Can my friends watch it online too?                                  Absolutely.   In fact, don't forget to post our show link on your facebook and twitter pages.   We purposely offer the show FREE so that we can get the biggest audience possible.               Will the festival be available to watch after November 28th?         No.  The viewing link will become disabled, and the films deleted from the servers. We will not exhibit or distribute your film in any fashion whatsoever other than for the festival.
How are winning films selected?
We have a panel of five judges who carefully screen each film numerous times. Films are judged on a point system for their technical merits, script development, acting, and entertainment value. Films with the the highest scores become "Official Selections", and are considered for various awards.
Do I get festival laurels?                                                                    Yes. All "Official Selections" and "Winners" receive laurels.  We will also add "Winner" and "Nomination" to your existing IMDB page.
